Dr. Peter Vitruk, PhD
Dr. Peter Vitruk earned his PhD degree in Physics from the Moscow Physics and Technology Institute, Moscow in the late 1980s in the former USSR, and since then he held a variety of research and development positions around the globe. In the 1990s he held Research Scientist position with The Academy of Sciences in the former USSR and then a Royal Society Visiting Research Fellow position at Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh, Scotland, UK. He later worked as Senior Scientist with Synrad Inc. in Seattle, WA, and then as Chief Scientist with Luxar/ESC/Lumenis also in Seattle, WA.
In 2002 Dr. Vitruk founded Luxarcare LLC – an exclusive certified Luxar laser service and accessories provider for 12,000+ surgical Luxar laser installations around the globe. In 2005 Dr. Vitruk founded LightScalpel LLC – the only American based designer and manufacturer of surgical CO2 laser for small office out-patient market. Dr. Vitruk has authored 10 patents and over 20 articles on CO2 lasers, and is a Member of The Institute of Physics, UK and a Member of the Academy of Laser Dentistry, USA. He is married to his wife of 28 years Natasha and they together have two children, Olga and Alexande
Roberto DiVito, DDS
Dr. Roberto DiVito, a graduate of Arizona State University and the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry, joined his father's practice in Scottsdale, Arizona in 2008. The practice uses state-of-the-art technology and "Dr. Rob" is on the cutting edge of dentistry. He utilizes new and innovative laser techniques and performs CEREC restorations.
He is an instructor for both the hard and soft tissue Laser Essentials course and is versed in use of lasers for both endo (PIPS) and periodontal therapy. Dr. Rob is a member of the Arizona Dental Association, California Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), and American Dental Association (ADA). He frequently volunteers his services at the Neighborhood Christian Clinic, a nonprofit organization in Phoenix, Arizona and is also part-time professor at the A.T. Still University, Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health.
Dr. Rob is married to his lovely wife Tori, and they reside with their son in Scottsdale.
Mark Colonna, DDS
Dr. Mark P. Colonna graduated from the Loyola University School of Dentistry Chicago in 1983. After receiving his degree, he practiced in St. Charles, IL. and taught at the dental school until 1992, holding the positions of Assistant Clinical Professor of Radiology and Assistant Clinical Professor of Operative Dentistry.
In 1992, he moved to Whitefish Montana and later founded the Montana Center for Laser Dentistry, where he began offering his patients the latest in minimally invasive dental care technology. A pioneer in the use of laser dentistry, Dr. Colonna is the first dentist in the world to use the laser technology to prepare teeth for full crowns and porcelain veneers using only the laser, i.e., without the use of drills or the need for local anesthesia. In addition, Dr. Colonna lectures and instructs on laser dentistry, and laser endodontics (root canals) across the country and the world. His articles on the topic appear in various well-known dental journals.
Dr. Colonna is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), Montana Dental Association, (MDA), Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), Academy of Laser Dentistry (ALD), Academy of Comprehensive Esthetics, The American Association of Endodontists (AEE), and a founding member of the World Clinical Laser Institute. He is also a lifetime member of the World Congress of Minimally Invasive Dentistry (WCMID). From the latter, Dr. Colonna has received the “Clinician of the Year” award, which acknowledged his work towards the advancement of minimally invasive dentistry.
Dr. Colonna has also earned Diplomat status in the World Congress of Minimally Invasive Dentistry and has received a Mastership Certification from the World Clinical Laser Institute (the highest laser certification available).
Scott Josephson DMD
Dr. Josephson earned his Bachelor of Health Science in Physiology with a minor in Chemistry, from the University of Arizona, College of Medicine. He later attended the Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health where he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree and certificate in Public Health.
After dental school, Dr. Josephson chose to complete an Advanced Education in General dentistry residency with Lutheran Medical Center. This advanced training in Full-mouth Rehabilitation, Oral Medicine, Endodontics, Periodontal Surgery, Sedation and both Laser and Implant Dentistry gives him the ability to excel in his profession and meet the needs of his patients. During this time he continued to work with all wavelengths of lasers on a daily basis. He has lectured on lasers to the doctors of the U.S Public Health Service.
Community health is a passion of Dr. Josephson’s: he enjoys spending time volunteering his skills with Valley non-profit organizations. Being an active member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of the General Dentistry, the American Association of Endodontists and the Academy of Ossointegration allows him to stay current with emerging oral medicine technologies.
The field of dentistry is constantly evolving, and Dr. Josephson understands the importance of keeping up-to-date with the newest and best dental technology. Dr. Josephson places strong emphasis on continuing education and insists on using only the best materials and most advanced technology dentistry has to offer.
Dr. Josephson is currently practicing dentistry in a private practice setting and is adjunct faculty at the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health in Mesa, AZ. He assisted in the development of the laser education curriculum at the dental school.
During his free time he enjoys spending time outdoors including: hunting, fishing, snowboarding, and golfing. He is married to his wife Angela and together they have 2 young children; Austin and Kaylynn.
Enrico DiVito, DDS
Dr. Enrico DiVito is a native to Arizona and received his B.S. from Arizona State University. He graduated from the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco in 1980 and returned home to establish a private practice in Scottsdale, Arizona.
For the past 35 years Dr. DiVito has been providing dental services and is constantly striving to keep up with the latest techniques. In 2005 Dr. DiVito founded the Arizona Center for Laser Dentistry where he utilizes cutting-edge technology to provide his patients with the safest and most efficient dental treatment. He teaches as a clinical professor at the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health and helped to create their Department of Laser Dentistry. Dr. DiVito is proficient in both hard and soft tissue laser applications and has lectured and published both nationally and internationally on the use of lasers in endodontics.
He is currently working on several new and innovative products using lasers for dentistry and medicine. Dr. DiVito is a member of many organizations including the American Dental Association (ADA), Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), Arizona Dental Association, World Clinical Laser Institute (WCLI), Academy of Laser Dentistry (ALD), and the Arizona Cranial Mandibular Association.
Robert Levine, DDS
Dr. Robert Levine is President of Global Laser Oral Health, LLC, and Levine Consulting. GLOH is a CERP Recognized provider for On-line Laser Training. Dr. Levine designs these programs for General Dental and Hygiene professionals as well as, Academics. He has been in the field of dentistry since 1973. He graduated from N.Y. University and completed a two year residency from 1973 to 1975 at the VA Hospital in Brooklyn, N.Y. He remained as a consultant from 1975 to 1985 and was in private practice in NYC from 1978-2005.
Dr. Levine has 12 years of experience in the laser arena, both in academic and private practice. For the past 8 years, Dr. Levine has been a full time faculty member at Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health, (ASDOH). He served as clinical director of the AEGD Post Graduate program from 2009-2013, as well as, Director of Laser Dentistry. Dr. Levine has published many papers on the science and use of CO2 Laser technologies for use in dentistry. He also lectures on Lasers and the new emerging technologies in dentistry.
Dr. Levine is also a proud co-developer of the first accepted laser curriculum at an accredited United States dental school. He also works heavily in the Special Care Dentistry arena, where he is able to apply this technology to a special group of patients.
His interest in oral cancer has led him to be a keynote speaker at the Major League Baseball meeting in Dallas, Texas, in 2011. He spoke on the dangers of using smokeless tobacco products. Dr. Levine educates the Major and Minor League players on the dangers of ST Products as well as HPV related Oral Cancer.
Through the GLOH training process, Dr. Levine saw a way of introducing to the Dental Professional, a comprehensive pathway to laser technology. The GLOH website utilizes the Articulate Process to provide training. With these technologies, they would see the potential benefits for their patients and their practices. He realized that an on-line training program is the most viable way to share this information to a large audience of dentists at a very affordable price. Dr. Levine interests include baseball, golf, skiing, and tennis. He resides in Scottsdale, Arizona.
